Welcome to Adventure
Learning Ecotours!
We promote awareness and understanding of the natural world by
offering educational guided ecotours to select national parks and
other wild lands. In most cases, your guides are wildlife biologists
who have worked in or conducted research in the areas we visit.
We also offer short learning workshops and guided outings in Upper
Michigan´s Keweenaw Peninsula (our homebase). These include
folk school type offerings and outdoor learning programs. When
our schedule allows, we can provide custom guide services to get
you off the beaten path on your visit to the Keweenaw. Inquire
about our custom ecotours for your group or non-profit organization.

Testimonials from recent ecotour participants...
“I can't imagine trying
to experience everything that we did in the park by ourselves.
Being able to understand why and how things in the park are happening
instead of just seeing it was amazing. Boiling River was definitely
a unique experience that all of your trips should hit. Being able
to have fun while learning was great.”
- Andrew Hosler (USA)
“Sharing your knowledge
of trees, animals, or whatever we were looking at took the trip
to a more involved level. Learning about the park, the life within
it, and the conflicts that surround it made it a more personal
and meaningful experience. I liked hiking in to see the wolf-killed
elk and the daily snowshoe outings.”
- Tara Swanson (USA)
“First, thank you for this
wonderful trip, we would never have seen and learned so much without
you! This was a great learning experience as you and your acquaintances
taught us a lot about wildlife and flora, along with funny or amazing
anecdotes.”
- Marie-Anne Serve (France)
“Thanks for the great trip!
Some highlights for me were going to look at the kill site, seeing
the coyotes eating the bison, getting that close-up look at the
wolf, and getting to hang out with a diverse group of people. It
was great to learn all about the ecology of the park. Also, loved
the mansion!”
- Julie Reynolds (USA)
“Greg, thanks for the trip,
the best one I experienced in USA.”
- Anne Lam (China)
“I just wanted to say thank
you for an awesome adventure. It was a great first time experience
for all of us. I wouldn't have gotten as much out of a trip to
Yellowstone without your expertise and enthusiasm! I was glad to
partake in such a great vacation. Keep on doing what you do, because
we all enjoyed it!”
- Esther Johnson (USA)
