REGISTERING and PAYING
To Register for an Ecotour
or Workshop:
Read and understand our payment,
cancellation, and refund policies below.
- Download the workshop or ecotour registration
form and liability waiver form (pdf files below - required
for ALL programs).
- If you register for ANY ecotour or backpacking
trip, download the health questionnaire (pdf). For backpacking
trips, please download the backpacking gear recommendations
(pdf).
- Print all required forms, fill them out
and mail them back to us along with a check or money order
made payable to “Adventure Learning Ecotours.”
- A 25% deposit is required to hold your spot in an ecotour
- Payment in full is required to hold your spot in a workshop
- Please call or email with any questions
or concerns. We're always willing to help!
Ecotour Payment Details
Payment Policy
- A deposit of 25% of the trip cost per person
is requested to hold your space.
- Balance is due 60 days before the departure
date of the ecotour.
- Feel free to contact us within 60 days if
you are interested in a trip. There may still be space available.
Cancellation and Refund
Policy
If you must cancel your ecotour,
please notify us in writing or by email using the contact information
on the website. We will not accept cancellations by phone. Cancellation
fees are as follows:
- 60 days or more prior to departure: full
refund less a $50 administrative fee.
- 30 - 60 days prior to departure: deposit
is forfeited (25% of ecotour fee).
- 30 days or less prior to departure: entire
ecotour cost is forfeited (sorry, no exceptions).
We reserve the right to cancel any
of our ecotours at any time due to low enrollment or circumstances
beyond our control. When we cancel a tour due to low enrollment
or circumstances beyond our control you will receive a FULL refund
of both your deposit and balance if you have paid in full.
Trip cancellation and medical
insurance is highly recommended. Contact CSA Vacation Guarantee
(800-348-9505) for information on trip insurance. Travel insurance
can help protect you against financial loss if you must cancel
or interrupt your trip.
Tour participants must fill out
a liability waiver and a health questionnaire which must be received
with final payment (60 days before departure date). Please remember
to print, complete and return these required forms.
Workshop Payment Details
Payment Policy
- Payment in full is requested to hold your
space in workshops.
- Please make an effort to pay at least 60
days before the workshop when possible. This helps with our
scheduling of instructors.
- Feel free to contact us within 60 days if
you are interested in a workshop. There may still be space
available.
Cancellation and Refund
Policy
If you must cancel, please notify
us in writing or by email using the contact information on the
website. Cancellation fees are as follows:
- 30 days or more prior to workshop: full
refund
- Less than 30 days prior to workshop: 25%
of workshop fee is forfeited UNLESS we fill your spot.
- Deposits are non-refundable for Wilderness
First Aid classes (due to commitments with the cooperating
medical organizations). If you send a deposit and cannot attend,
we will transfer your deposit to a future workshop or ecotour.
We reserve the right to cancel any
of our workshops at any time due to low enrollment or circumstances
beyond our control (weather, instructor illness, etc.). When we
cancel a workshop due to low enrollment or circumstances beyond
our control you will receive a FULL refund.
Workshop participants must fill
out a liability waiver which must be received with payment. Certain
workshops involving strenuous outdoor activity may also require
a health questionnaire (we´ll let you know). Please remember
to print, complete and return these required forms.
