Join experienced and licensed builder Ashok Agarwal to learn about the time-honored skill of building using the timber frame or post and beam method. This workshop provides an overview of all aspects of timber frame design with an emphasis on hands-on learning. Participants will use hammers, chisels, and other hand tools to layout and cut mortices and tenons, peg joinery, and assemble bents. All skill levels are welcome and no prior building experience is needed. Tools and materials are provided. Bring water and a lunch each day. The workshop will be held outside so dress appropriately.
